0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I did lots of research and this is the car seat of the future. Super Lightweight around 7lbs and the fabric quality is very high. The base is heavy duty and very secure, It has a bar that folds down and sits on the floor of the car to add stability in and accident. This seat has a high quality side impact system that makes it 40% safe in an accident. The base and seat have metal parts that hook to each other for added integrity in a crash. It also comes with an infant insert. The only problem is the tiny sun canopy, it has to be paired with a blanket to get any coverage from the sun. I can't believe they spent so much time on this awesome seat and then stopped short on the canopy. otherwise I would have given it 5 stars

I saw this in a blog about new car seats and looked it up and loved the safety features. With our first, his car seat was placed in the center of the back seat, and now with 2 children, that was not an option, so side impact safety was huge on our list. There's even a crash test you can watch of this seat on youtube. It fared way better than all the others i've watched and decided this was our seat. When it finally came out for retail, I bought it immediately. After using this seat for 2 months now, I can say that it was definitely the right choice. I have an Audi A4. it's not the greatest in back seat space, and this seat isn't overly big or bulky, it fits right behind my seat without a problem. The base is one of the easiest I've ever installed. It's quick, fool proof, and you get a super tight latch that won't budge. The canopy isn't the greatest, but I bought it for safety, not how big the canopy is. I would definitely recommend this car seat to the safety conscious parent who isn't concerned about price.
