4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.We bought this for our 2006 Honda civic coupe. We bought it from Costco.com just in case we needed to return it because of fit. I decided on this one because someone else mentioned in a review that it fit for their civic coupe rear facing. I didn't want to get my hopes up but it actually fits better than our infant carrier. Installing it with latch was also super easy and the shoulder straps also adjust so easily.One big problem folks might have is if you want to put three car seats together in the back, this will definitely not fit in a compact car because of the width but the height is definitely good.Some things for clarification that I had to find after a lot of digging: the headrest is easily adjustable but you can only use it for rearfacing on the two lowest settings and your child's head has to be at least 1 inch from the top. If you are worried about your child growing out of it too soon, to to the store and have your baby try it out.The back middle seat is the safest place to install car seats BUT in order to use latch there, it must have dedicated latch or it must actually say in the owner's manual that you can "borrow" the latch from the other seats. Unfortunately, apparently most cars will make you use the seat belt installation and it seems that not a lot of people know this. Civics do not have latch in the middle AND they do NOT allow borrowing.I am so happy this actually fit and it is so easy to install.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.This car seat is so quick and easy to install. My son appears to be very comfortable in it. I love the Idea that it grows with him. ( he's been in it since he was 9 months) At 2 I've only adjusted the headrest once.The only drawback for me is the harness straps get twisted too easily so you have to be cautious of this putting your child in. Also the comfort pad that is provided makes dealing with the harness issues even more time consuming and seems more suited for small infants under 6 months maybe.And with regards to smaller infants the headrest at it's lowest setting may not be positioned correctly to protect their heads. My son's head was just barely there and he was 9 months. Other than that the price is great if you are looking for something comparable to a Britax or Recaro but can't afford those. The recline on this car seat is also better than I expected my baby's head wasn't flopping forward when he'd sleep. Hope this helps
