Upon receiving it, I followed the instructions for cleaning and placed it in the wash so that it would be clean to put onto the infant car seat for when our baby arrived. The packaging clearly states that it is machine washable. I placed the entire cover in the wash...including the canopy cover as it is flexible. After the FIRST WASH, the flexible plastic tubing in the canopy cover ripped thru one side of the fabric and was protruding out. I immediately contacted Itzy Ritzy and left a message explaining my issue with the product. After one week, I still had not rec'd any response back from the company, so I proceeded to email them. Another week passed and still no luck. I think I called the company a total of 2 times and emailed them at least 3 times and to this day I still have not heard back from them (it has been months). Even though I was having issues with the product, I still thought I would go ahead and place the cover on the car seat while waiting to hear back from the Itzy Ritzy Customer Service. We have a Graco Snug Ride 35 and I ended up hating it on the seat b/c the strap & button to tighten & release the shoulder straps is located on the front, center of the car seat and the cover does not have a cut out to accommodate it. Therefore, EVERY time that you want to put your child in or out of the car seat; you must lift the bottom of the cover off entirely for access. This was definitely not convenient in my opinion! I could not imagine having to do this every time I wanted to put my child in the seat and every time I wanted to take him out. This company hypes up their product and claims that all the 'Hollywood stars' use it, which would lead me to believe that it is great, but the product & the company are CRAP in my opinion. You couldn't pay me to own another one of their products. It seems like for the cost of the product it would last longer than one wash (especially since I had never even used it prior to the first wash) and they would be more attentive to their customers.I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! Don't waste your time or money!
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.These are bulky and therefor unsafe to use in car seats. They also void the warranty on your car seat, as stated in the instruction manual.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.I love the idea of being able to change the look of your car seat. The only complaint I have is it needs a hole at the bottom for the strap to tighten the shoulder straps. Other than that Otis a great product.
