0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I really researched this car seat before I bought it. The only complaint I saw about it was that it was slightly heavier than a graco or chicco. The extra weight is minimal, especially compared to the SAFETY of it's construction! Helloooo, it's slightly heavier, because it's STURDIER! Also, I love the ease of adjusting the height of the output of the straps, by the baby's shoulders. One button on back easily adjusts that up and down. NO re-threading straps through the seat apholstery. The side impact protection is awesome, and I am SO glad I didn't get a Britax, because the Britax would not have fit in our Volkswagen 4 door passat, but THIS car seat FIT! YEA! I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a VERY SAFE carseat! There's a reason why pediatricians recommend this seat! Hey! I'm a pediatric nurse! Enough said. If you want to defray the cost of the seat, buy a second base for the seat, instead of a second seat, for another car.
